I'm Seda Sürel, a Turkish language teacher, author, and language specialist based in Istanbul. For more than a decade, I've taught languages, developed educational materials, and worked on Turkish localization and linguistic quality projects for international companies.
Teaching is central to my work and has shaped how I approach language-related projects. Years of explaining Turkish grammar, working with learners from different backgrounds, and creating educational content have given me a practical understanding of how Turkish works and where misunderstandings arise.

My background in comparative literature and history, together with my research and writing about Turkish culture, helps me recognize references, humor, idioms, and expressions that may lose their meaning in direct translation.
